Hi it's us ...
The skies darken earlier, the days are short, and the chill in the air as the temperature drops reminds us that we are well and truly in the depths of the winter season. Although the warmer months tend to hold carefree and joyful energy, the winter months do not need to be feared. There are a few things that you can do to make the harsh Australian winters just that little bit easier for you and your family.
Euca is an eco-friendly, Australian-made and owned company with a broad range of laundry and lifestyle products that are ideal for around the house and suitable for everyone in the family, whatever the season is.
Let’s take a look at some of the ways you can use Euca’s eco-friendly products around your home to stay healthy and make it through the rest of this winter.
The Common Cold
The winter season is notorious for causing runny noses, body aches and pains. By now, we’re all conditioned to maintain that “covid-safe” distance, yet we might still become susceptible to the common cold, during the winter months. Euca’s Winter Rub is the ideal companion for clearing blocked and congested airways. Just add a dash to hot steamy water and inhale (directions of use below). This fantastic multi-purpose product contains powerful elements such as Australian Eucalyptus and Lavender oil, menthol and Wintergreen oil. The essential oils used are known for their soothing characteristics, allowing you to unwind after a hard day. Euca’s Winter Rub can also be used after exercise or a challenging day at work to help relieve anxiety and help you to relax!
Directions of use:
To body: Apply a small amount to the area/s of treatment. Rub vigorously until the area warms naturally. Apply as often as needed.
Inhalation: you will need a heat-resistant mixing bowl, hot water, and a cloth. Place the bowl of hot water on a table and add one teaspoon of Euca Winter Rub. Position yourself so your head can rest comfortably over the entrance of the bowl, and inhale the vapours by taking slow, deep breaths. Once you are comfortable, cover your head with a cloth for added effect. If at any point you are uncomfortable, stop immediately.
Shield Your Skin
The colder months dry out our skin, making it look drab, damaged and parched. Maintaining our skin’s radiance and smoothness can be difficult, especially with the loss of summer sun and air. Incorporating an indulgent and decadent body care routine tailored to the winter season can help you keep that summer glow all year round. Euca’s White Peony Body Care range is great to ensure your skin feels hydrated and moisturised through the unique blend of Almond and Macadamia oil, mango butter and peony extract that are all known for their wonderful skin benefits.
Directions of use:
- Start your shower off with Euca’s White Peony Body Scrub, apply a 20-cent piece of product onto your skin and exfoliate as desired. Say goodbye to debris, dirt and dead skin! Follow up with the rest of your in-shower products
- Once out of the shower thoroughly moisturise and repair your skin with Euca’s White Peony Body Silk for the body and Euca’s White Peony Night Cream for the face.
A diffuser is one of the finest ways to create a comfortable and soothing atmosphere in your home. Diffusers can be placed in any room of the house to create a calming, warming smell without the dangers of open flames. To clear and refresh the sinuses, simply add a decongestant essential oil to your diffuser, or you could try our new Euca Divine Diffuser. It’s a divine way to invoke warmth and comfort into your homes during this chilly weather. It comes with a set of Reed or a 500ml refill.
Euca’s 100% Australian Eucalyptus Oil, is a great addition to your winter essential oil collection. Adding a few drops to your diffuser can provide numerous advantages, including relief from cold and flu symptoms, increased immunity, and relief from stress and anxiety.
